"Faarooq" Released from WWE

I just took a gander at wwe.com and saw this

Ron “Faarooq” Simmons has been released from WWE, effective immediately, according to the WWE Talent Relations Department.

Thats all it says. Anyone happen to know exactly why?

Ron Simmons evidently has a pretty serious substance abuse problem. WWE asked him to take some time off and get well, Simmons refused and was let go. Same thing happened to Jeff Hardy.

Its silly when you think about it, because WWE has a very good track record of helping out talent who have drug problems. They helped out William Regal, Road Dogg (couldn't stay clean) and many others in the past. Its a shame Simmons can't see the forest for the trees and lost himslef his future employment. WWE wanted him to stay on as a road agent after he retired. Looks like that won't happen now.
