It's good, but Rogue Leader is much better.
There are a lot of jaggies there. The poly count doesn't seem so high, and the textures seem really blurry.
Also, the level of detail isn't that great.
Take a look at the land and the water in the 5th pic, and compare it to Vengeance on Kothlis from Rouge Leader and you'll see a huge difference
Sorry, but it's no match for Rogue Leader visually.

have you seen this game in motion? you're comparing a screenshot to a level in a game...that's not a fair comparison...
I think this game will look amazing in motion...the so called "jaggies" you see will be slim-none and you won't notice any "blurry textures" when you're possibly moving at 60 fps...

That's true. It probably does look a lot better in motion, but It's still not as good as some RL screens I've seen.

Rogue Leader looks a hell of a lot better (Judging by screenshots). But I rarely rate a game by its graphics, gameplay, of course.

And if you want to compare screenshots, let's do it. Compare these Rogue Leader shots to those Starfighter pics you posted.

Where the hell did I say I wanted to compare screenshots? Get your damn Gamecube pictures OUT of the PS2 forum...keep them in the GAMECUBE forum...Get it?

Hmm... yes... let's freak out on Gambit for making good discussion, shall we? I never said you wanted to, but you said in motion it looked great. Well that's wonderful. Same thing goes for Rogue Leader. Somebody said it was a Rogue Leader killer, so I decided to compare them.
I'm sorry if you took offense, I certainly didn't intend for you to take any. The pics of Jedi Starfighter look great. I never meant to challenge that. It'll probably be a great game. I just wanted to show you it's competition. Don't psyche out on me for it.

The game looks good, very good. But a Rogue Leader killer? I doubt it.

In my eyes, you ruined this topic by making it about Starfighter VS Rogue Leader
I think Rogue Leader is a great game, but we can discuss that IN THE GAMECUBE FORUM, CAN'T WE?
This topic was meant for people to see the new screens of the PLAYSTATION 2 GAME, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and to maybe further appreciate it for its looks. You turned it into a battle of screenshots, which quite frankly, ruins the purpose of this thread I made.
As for "Rogue Leader killer " it was merely to gain attention, and it was a joke. I know how everybody here at GT worships the game that is Rogue Leader. I just wanted to make a little fun out of it. Don't take that seriously, guys...in fact, I'll edit that out.

Graphics look good enough for me, let's hope the gameplay is good too
And BTW, I don't like comparing stuff to rogue leader either...
a: Yes we all know rogue leader is like the best looking (fully 3D) game ever...
b: Yes we know probably nothing on PS2 will beat it... at least not anytime soon...
So there's no point in really comparing anything... the only thing that would accomplish is saying "This game looks like crap compared to rogue leader muwahaha bow down before the power of gamecube"
