More Memory in June, Sunshine in August...

		| Beginning June 24, Memory Card 251 will offer consumers more storage capacity for saving NINTENDO GAMECUBE games at a price of $19.95.
On August 26, the latest title in the blockbuster Mario franchise, Super Mario(R) Sunshine, a 3-D action-adventure game, will debut exclusively for NINTENDO GAMECUBE.
 |
The link also reconfirms Wavebird and ED release dates.

The new memory card is good, it will have a lot more room for game saves. Also, Mario Sunshine by August, sounds good, but should I be expecting a delay... Let's hope not.

Too bad I'm not gonna wait until June 24th or so to get my gamecube and I'm gonna have to buy one of those crappy overpriced Memory card 59s or whatever
But at least I won't have to buy like 10 of them in NGC's lifetime...
So who here thinks mario sunshine's release date will stay August 26th? heh heh... |

 Hey I just thoughta something..
isn't it kinda funny that Nintendo will be releasing a new, bigger memory card in late june... and we still havn't heard anything about the SD card adapter for a long while now... ?

Makes me think even more now that the SD card thing will never be released
but I dunno... maybe it's just another stupid thing Nintendo's doing... "We loaded people up on memory card 59s, now let's load them up on 251s and we'll get even more money, and THEN release the SD adapter" |

Gamecube is looking better and better every day
 251???

 251/59=4.25 x The origanal cards

 4.25 x 500kb= 2.125MB

Still not enough for a lot of Ps2 sports game saves, but it's a start.

Why didn't they just release these cards in the first place?

   | All they have to release is a Memory Card 944... and I'll be happy

 Sounds all nice and stuff
could pick up a Memory Card 251 with WM X-8

 And Mario in the summer

And if no one noticed.. the game went through a minor name change

 it's back to it's roots

Super Mario Sunshine.. still think it sounds dumb

   | Like, please stop harassing people, Xantar. Just because you are 65 years old and are now on your pension plan, you cannot harass people. And another thing, please add something knowledgable to the thread, not any of thuis stupid stuff.

Geeze, these damn retired people. When will they learn.

And... how do we know if Mario is coming out in August in North America? There is nothing saying that... Hopeully it does, though.

 | You see stuff coming from NOA usually deals with America..

Not to mention that the dates for ED and the WaveBirds are the American dates.. I don't even know when they plan on releasing ED for Japan

 | Oh, my bad. I thought that we would usually hear news from Nintendo of Japan first.

My mistake!
