Default Final Fantasy Anthologys

Does anyone else have this? I would have posted this in a PSX forum but there seems to be a distinct lack of them. Anyway. I have it and its great. The graphics are rubbish but the gameplay is classic. Squaresoft had a genius idea putting the classsics on a new(ish) console.

Had it, sold it... I'm not a big fan of older Final Fantasy's...

FF Chronicles was better because it had Chrono Trigger (which I like better than older FFs)... But I ended up selling that one too...

I agree that the newer ones are better but the old ones deserve some credit. They set the path for RPG's in the future. My favourite is FFVIII but that doesn't mean FFIV and V are bad.

There is a board called Old School. Use it for any other consoles not seen on the main board (like this thread). Either that or The Dungeon for multi-console stuff.

I really liked Final Fantasy VI but Final Fantasy V is just boring as hell. I got about half way through (??) and just quit since the game really started to suck. Maybe I'll pick it up again in a couple weeks and finish it.

Well, I can see why they didn't release FFV out here on the SNES in the first place, and well.. FFVI was a been-there-done-that by the time this was released, so really.. it's not really a good purchase unless you've played either, aside from cutscenes. But, there were only like, a few? Neh..

What they really need to do is port Secret Of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3.
