Is this rude?
Tonight, a couple of friends and I went driving around and went to Hokey Pokeys (its like a chuckEcheese). We all had a fun time! We were in two cars, and there were 7 of us (3 guys and 4 gals, and me and another guy were driving). 3 gals went in his care, and a guy and a gal went in mine. We then went to Tim Hortons, and after all the gals went in his car, and the guy in mine. I dropped the guy at home, and then we went to try to take down this sign.. lol. We were all outside, and we were gonna go back into the cars... Except once again all of the girls went in this guys car, and they left me all alone.
Now is it just me, or is that sort of rude? I know all of the gals... And we are pretty good friends. Am I being too.. I dunno... Too oversensitive or something?
Worst of all, is that I was having no fun driving alone, so I was honking the horn to try to get them to stop. They were listening to music real loud, so they went on the highway. So I just turned around and headed home.
Then... One of the gals gets on MSN, and was like "what the hell, why did you leave? that was so rude". I just laughed to myself and told her sarcastically "I was having so much fun all alone that I had to go home". (I know that doesnt make sense.. lol.. but you get the point). Then she said that I should have stayed because it was fun.. haha...
So she asked me if I was mad, and I said yes. And then she got all defensive! lol... I might just be a really polite guy, but if there were 2 cars and one was empty, I would definitely go into the car with nobody in it.
So I am being too oversensitive? Please share you comments!

Re: Is this rude?
No, you're being fine. It was rude of the girls to all go in the other guy's car.
Unless you're just a crazy driver and they were just being concerned for their own safety
But seriously, it was rude of them.

No, it wasn't your fault at all. It was pretty rude of them, and who's car were you driving? Yours? Your parents...?

I'll post twice to get my point across. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment, do you believe they felt they were putting you in a bad situation? It's probably second nature to hop in the car with all your friends. Maybe it started with one person in the one guy's car... the person returned to the last car she was in, and her friends followed, not thinking that there were two people who had to bring cars.
It's something you get for driving. Like I said, try asking for company next time, they won't think you a fool just for asking, I assume.

If you suck at driving or constantly hit on the girls, I could see why they'd wanna go in the other car...
errmmm yeah but if you don't then that's kinda rude of them (unless you guys were driving somewhere specific and it wasn't too far off... then it wouldn't be a big deal cuz you'd be all nice and back in a group after awhile)...
Not that I care... I can be rude sometimes... and other times if someone else is being rude I just sit there and don't really care...
I like bananas...

Re: Is this rude?
Joeiss, I don't think you were too oversensitive. If I had a car and people took a different one and I was alone, I would be a little mad. At least you told her you were mad. But being defensive was a little dumb.

Re: Is this rude?
I agree with Rndm_Perfection. They probably didn't know they were being rude! When you saw them go into the other car, you could have shouted something like 'Are you gonna leave me all alone? '.
Don't hold a grudge against them now! You could explain why you left, they'll hopefully understand.

Re: Is this rude?
Naw, the other guy is cool. He is my workout partner! lol... we're prety close. And he is the crazy driver.. I am the semi-crazy driver.. lol.
Umm... Yeah, the one girl I spoke to didn't realize that they left me all alone... Which again I think is kinda lame, considering its not hard to notice stuff like that.
Oh well. Its the next day, and I couldn't really care less right now. The last thing that I want is them making a big deal about it tonight when we go to see Bad Boys 2... Because I hate little arguments that go nowhere.. lol.

Really? Hmmm. What does it mean where you live? I may not have been really that clear on it, prep can mean a variety of things. Its basically a popular snob who wears brand name everything. But it can also mean what I said before. But I'm getting off track, Im not supposed to be discussing the anatomy of the word prep.

You're right on the first definition. It has nothing to do with being a homosexual. As the dictionary puts it:
1. A student or former student of a preparatory school.
2. A person whose manner and dress are deemed typical of traditional preparatory schools.
