Default Wrestlemania XIX

How friggin' pathetic...

http://cube.ign.com/articles/427/427186p1.html

The story mode takes place in outdoor environments where you objective is to destroy Vince's property...

WHAT THE F**K EVER HAPPENED TO "WRESTLING" IN WRESTLING GAMES??? DAMMIT!!!

I'm about ready to give up on the whole genre. Developers just don't get it.

I've given up on it a long time ago. The first one I played a wrestling game was WCW vs. NWO. That game was truly great, it was rather simplistic. This made me happy for another wrestling game to come out. All of them were crap. i've given up on Wrestling games a long time ago.

It's like deja vu.

It's not like the feature was recently announced or recently shown, it has been known since the game was first announed, and like you, many have a problem with the story mode.

Before I even bother to talk on the subject, I find it very funny that so many people complain about a feature that really wasn't commonplace in wrestling games still recently, and developers are trying to work it out. I mean before this, almost any wrestling game had a King of the Ring-esque system as a story mode.

Anyhow, the story mode is different, but would you rather than work in a storyline about walking dogs and getting lotion?

Well hey, at least it's realistic. The storylines suck just like real WWE!

But anyways I'd rather just have a good wrestling game with NO story mode than the story modes I've seen in the last few years. I'll just stick with No Mercy, which has a good enough story mode anyways.

You got a point

Gameplay is all that matters... if WM XIX somehow pulls of great gameplay (fat chance) it's fetures are good enough to make me love it. But if it's gameplay is equal to Raw's and SD's, I defanently will not buy it. No big draws to XIX for me here.

SD got the legends, Raw got the 4-player season... nuff said
