Why?

Now that i updated windows, when i turn my comp on it goes to a user select screen.... its like select the user you want...and i dont want that...i just want it to go to my desktop, not ask which user i have, which is lame cause theres only one user lol

Look around in User Accounts in the Control Panel. Or it may even be in TweakUI. I'm not really sure considering I am the only person who uses this computer and it logs onto my account as the default.

EDIT: I found it in TweakUI, it is under Logon, Autologon. Check "log on automatically at system startup." Here's the link to download TweakUI if you don't have it: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

goto Control Panel. then User Acounts.


If your the only one that uses it. You can Eeither Delete the extra accounts.

or try going to 'change way users log on or off' and turn off the welcome screen.

xp...it happend ever since i did the updates

think it has something ot do with .net passport that i updated

no...ok...on XP...go to Control Pannel -> User Accounts -> Change the way users log on or off -> uncheck both boxes...


if that doesnt help...then i dont know..
