Wow. I predict another disappointing game by Nintendo. Heh heh... really though, I doubt they'll change anything, and the first Pikmin was kinda stupid.

This is one of Nintendo's own games that I didnt really care for. Thats rare. It was fun a first, but got old very quickly...got to be more trouble than it was worth, I thought.

The first one was a good rental. But other than that, it wasn't worth $50. Hopefully Nintendo lengthens the game and actually puts some replay value into it. After I beat the first one, I didn't want to play it again. The extra mode was lame and didnt offer any replay to me.

The screen with olimar and another charcter, without the split screen seems interesting. Could this mean Pikmin 2 could have an Online mode?

Ofcourse it could suggest the possbility of two GC's being linked up and being played on seperate TV's, or maybe a zapping system similar to one found in RE0.

Seems interesting though. I really loved the first Pikmin.

I own the first one, which I enjoyed( I love stratergy games) but it had no replay value what so ever.

But still the first Pikmin sold very well ..........but a second one? I don't know if that's a wise move

It has sold quite a bit over the 1 Million barrier world wide. Ofcourse it's a wise move.

Nintendo already have the engine for this game, and other things, so development costs would be even lower than they were for Pikmin 1, and IF there is an online mode, and some cool multiplayer modes, the game will sell atleast as well as the first.
Maybe they will add some difficulty modes, and make the game longer...

They should also include a free roaming mode.

I know, I would much rather have impossible missions and no time constraint.

As for the screenshots, I'm dissapointed, nothing looks better and the main character's "assistant" looks like a dope.

Looks like it will be great for multiplayer night. Pikmin + multiplayer = cool.

I think there will not be multi player... just a new ability to split up the team. I mean like... have Olmar take a group down one path and find a place to stop, then take the other guy down another path. You could work on way more things at once like this.

I liked the first game... one of the better strategy games I have ever played.

I dunno... the time played a huge role in the first game, it's what gacve the game it's challenge. If it wasn't for time, the game would be easy as hell.

I think they should keep time... but have no day-to-day constraints. Was it 30 days on the origanal? I think they should ditch the 30 day limit... but still keep the 24 hour limit per day. This way there could still be a challenge.
