I think i'd rather have a 3d adventure with kirby (not that quasi 3d/2d junk we had in kirby 64) with kirby than a spin-off racing game, but I'll take what I can get

Nothing impressive at first sight...but the Kirby character can be used in some amazing ways...he could be the most versatile character in gaming. I fear, however, that this will turn out to be a 'cute-fest'.

Yep, that's pretty much the gist of it.
Yeah, I like the concept too. Grabbing power ups and morphing into different mobiles on the track. And from the looks of stretched Kirby, this looks fast.
