Most populated XBL city is the fattest city in the US, heh. (At least thats what I heard the last time) Is that the actual PSO on there? I'm not sure if its out for XBox yet. But 248 is kind of low, unless it just came out recently. Shouldn't MS put up how many "Liver's" there are? I'd like to see how many there are.

Last time I heard over 150,000 kits were sold, but that was a while ago, back before Christmas I think or shortly after Christmas. I'd guess its probably around 200,000 now.

Wow, did the snowball fight start in Hell yet?

You're a little off.

Here is part of a press release issued by Microsoft on January 7th, 2003:
Quote:
Microsoft Corp. today released new data that indicates playing video games online via the Xbox Live™ service is quickly becoming the evening activity of choice for throngs of entertainment thrill seekers. Since the introduction of Xbox Live less than 60 days ago, more than 250,000 starter kits have been sold -- double original sales expectations. The starter kit has been selling out in most locations in North America. According to data released by NPD Group Inc., in the first month of availability, Xbox Live Starter Kits outsold by 86 percent the number of PlayStation 2 Network Adapters Sony sold in its first month.* Gamers have flocked to the world's first high-speed video gaming arena fully dedicated to online gaming, spending an average of 2.5 hours per day playing online.

Wow, and I thought I was being generous. Looks like online gaming might just be getting mainstream afterall.
