help! scratched game
well, my mom got Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets game for Christmas. It is a totally awesome game! Sadly, my little sister knocked the PS2 off the stand while I was playing and now the game is scratched. I want the game back sooo bad. Got any suggestions?

It's another night in hell, Another child won't live to tell
Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well, Another soldier has to yell
Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now amen, amen, amen

I use this thing called the Game Doctor
it puts a cleanser on the disc, and then sorta sands it down to make it all even. It has fixed every one of my games/cds/dvds that has been scratched over the years.
I think you can use a lens cleaner and just wipe it off (from the middle of the disc outward) using a tissue.
Hope that helps...
and Shiz, what's wrong with Harry Potter?

did somethnig fall on the disc??
cuz just the thing falling over one wouldnt think would cause a deep enough scratch to bother the game at all.
but eh. use a disc cleaner

Thanks for all the advice people. But it is a PS2 game so the wal-mart thing won't work. (i would like to try, but my mom said it was stupid) when it fell the door popped a little open so since the disk was still spinning i think it scratched it pretty deep. I tried the scratch remover, like you suggested, but it didn't work. Guess I'm just out of luck.
PS: It is really an awesome game (along the lines of Zelda, maybe a bit simpler) and I happen to be a real Harry Potter fan.

I think the manual says you shouldn't move the PS2 while playing cause it can cause scratches. A friend of my brother had that.
