UK sales numbers

Posted by C&VG
PlayStation 2 continues to batter the competition in the latest UK sales figures for the week ending December 14, as GameCube and Xbox show healthy growth.
PS2 shifted 111,066 units, a slight drop of two percent on the previous week, while Xbox achieved sales of 32,805, a rise of 18 percent, and GameCube an increase of 16 percent to 13,403. GBA sales by fell eight percent over the same period to 29,899.
With PS2 in an unassailable position and Xbox now seemingly well established in the number two spot, GameCube has a lot of catching up to do in 2003, but with healthy sales in all corners of the market, it looks like being an extremely prosperous Christmas for the games industry. Ho! Ho! Ho!

For while, then Xbox went back on top in the 'UK' after all these bundles were announced. Mind you, the UK doesn't account for the whole of Europe.

GC is outselling XBox in EUROPE. UK is only 4 countries. Though it is the largest market in europe, I dont think its larger than the other combined.

In fact Gamecube is no longer out selling Xbox Europe and has not for about 4 weeks now It's close over all but Xbox has started to out sale it in Germany France and the UK (if you did not know they make up around 80% of the European Games market) I have also heard reports that Xbox is selling very well Switzerland.

The UK isn't 4 countries... right? Nah it can't be, never heard of that.
Although they do have different national soccer teams.
That X-B bundle is too good... Let them stop it!!!
