Thumbs up Timsplitters 2 !

I just bought this game yesturday and its great! Multiplayer mode is awesome so many weapons, levels, and different multi games. and over 100 playable characters! And the first mapmaker for a first person shooter! This game as everything even mini games you can pick up in the levels and play on your computer thingy. If you like first person shooters grab this game!

This doesn't have to do with the game itself really...well i guess it does, anyways i was playing story mode, then didn't beat then level so i shut off the game, when i came back from eating i started to play again but their was one problem, my datd was GONE...sorta. When i go to load it says their is no profile blah blah on this memory card, and this game automaticly saves btw. So i have no idea whats going on i took out the disk and checked the memory card to see that my data is still there. But for some reason i can't load it, so i made another file under the same name and this one works but the other doesn't...whats goign on?!?! Has this happened to anyone esle before?

Does it have 2-player co-op story mode, or 1-4 player multi player missions. (like in PD)

Me and my friends STILL play the Perfect Dark 1-4 player co-op multi-play missions. (we kind of hit a road block)

If this game features these types of "challenges", it's as good as mine before the week is up. (too bad it has to go head up with GTA:VC in my game collection)

So how does this game compare to Goldeneye and Perfect DarK?

I LOOVED both of those games (especially Goldeneye), and have been wanting a great multiplayer game on GCN.

I have SMB, THPS3, and SSB:M, but I'm sort of getting bored with them, and have been longing for a a great FPS.

So, is this game worth a purchase?

I'm kinda starpped for cash, and can only buy probably 2 more games this year, so do you think I should make TS2 one of them (with Metroid Prime the other).

What do you think?

I just bought the game, and I am enjoying it a lot. There is a large slew of weapons, characters with different skills, and different multiplayer modes (which you have to unlock as you play). So far I am unable to get very far in story mode, but I am still having fun with Arcade mode.

This game really does bring back memories of the Goldeneye days. The difficulty is there and it doesn't look like you can do everything in it very quickly. I've only played 1 player, but the bots are fairly entertaining, especially when the difficulty is cranked up. Using Rockets in deathmatch is tons of fun and very fast paced. I recommend this game to anyone who loves FPS. This will feed the need.

TS2 kinda sucks IMO...but that's just me. It's too short for my liking.

TS2 must have the worst controls of all time. I played it the other day for both GCN and PS2, and I nearly threw up.

I rented TS2 yesterday and the multiplayer is the only saving grace for this game. (Probably the best multiplayer for a FPS on a console IMO) But the single-player missions are just bleh. Also, I agree with the other guy who said that the TS2 controls were horrible. (But I'm sorta used to them now, so it's not much of a problem)

And this isn't the first FPS that has a map-making feature.

Why are the controls bad? Wouldn't the 1.2 setup from GE & PD work?

Change the controller set up on GCN.... I think it's the very last option they give you. It makes the game play like Goldeneye. The C-Stick will be like the C Buttons and the stick will control the movement exactly like Goldeneye.

On Xbox I can see this working too. On Ps2 the controller is hopeless.

This game is great to me... it's like a mix of Quake and Goldeneye, with nicer grapchics (you can add Halo to the mix if you like the default controlls)

The menu set-up is so damn simple, especialy for all the options this game has. As far as multi-player, except for the lack of challenges, it's the best console FPS (if not game) I've seen yet.

Looking at these ratings:
Perfect Dark: 9.5
Halo 9.8
Goldeneye 9.6

by comparision I give this game a 9.7

It's fun, VERY indepth, and most of all simple to control.

This is weird, one group of ppl is yelling that the game sux (at least the single player), while the other shouts that it's the best console FPS ever made...
