It's totally changing who Yuna really is..

She doesn't use a f*cking gun. She uses a staff, and she does pose like that or act like Lara Croft or Joanna Dark.

People who judge characters of games by uniqueness and/or style and/or attitude and/or whatever else makes characters interesting and a good part of the story rather than how much ass they can show

do you not consider her new look to be unique? she looks like shes ready to kick some ass with her twin guns, hows that for attitude? sure, she is showing a fair bit of ass, but thats just the icing on the cake. if FF10:AL had Yuna running around with a dress and a staff again that would be boring. you gotta spice things up.

meh, Lara Croft aint got nothing on Yuna. I doubt many Japanese even know who Lara is, considering Core is a European developer. so when they see Yuna they'll be like "whoa!! that sh*t be kickin!!"

i know, it doesnt suit her personality. but when i first heard that Square would be making 2 FF10 sequels, i thought it would just be more of the same....but now i see this new dynamic approach that Square is using, and i cant wait for FF10:AL

If you were a Metal Gear Solid fan, would you be happy if all they did was turn Snake into a stereotypical action hero who runs into battle with guns'a'blazin' and leaves no man standing, and then procedes to make everything explode in a series of gigantic explosions?

Point being: Change is good, but changing a character into something entirely different (something that they're not) isn't necesarily the best way to change things...
