Default TV Help (S-Video)

I recently bought a TV... And it does not have S-Video features... Is this good or bad? I think it gives a sharper picture or something... I am just thinking if I should take my TV back, and get one with S-Video. Will it make a big difference compared to the normal Red White and Yellow cables? Thanks in advance.

If you bought that TV to play games on, then yes, take it back and get one with s-video capabilities. Moreover, the difference is large enough to notice.

Damnit. It is specifically to play games on! I'll call the store and tell them that I am unsatisfied with the TV, and get a new one.

Even better. THere are now TV's from $259 up that have component and S-Video imputs. No progressive, but the component imput is a sligthly bigger step over S-Video than S-Video is a step over composite A/V which is a step over RF.

So for the money you can get a really good image without the expenses of progressive (which seems to be not as noticeble as it is just to have component over the rest)
