FreQuency Compatible With FreQuency 2
According to a smart reader of ours, the online version of FreQuency does some pretty interesting things. He said that he was able to contact Harmonix via email who said that the network version of FreQuency is being delivered as a demo packed with the PS2 Network adapter. That demo will have four songs from FreQuency: DJ Qbert, Jungle Brothers, Fear Factory, and Funkstar Deluxe and those songs will be able to be played in all modes, although there will be no campaign structure.

Did you already know this? OK, read on, then: The demo disk enables players to play all FreQuency levels online via a "Disc Swap" feature that you can use to pop in the original FreQuency disk and play all 27 songs (plus any custom remixes that you've made) online. Those are Harmonix's words to the T. Sounds nice, eh?

Criterion's FPS
They really are making one. We now know, but there isn't a publisher attached yet. Could it be Sony? How about Midway? EA? Well, we'll know sooner than later, and when we know, you will, too.

Sega Ready to Pounce on PS2
The Sega Sonic Team is working on a killer product for the PS2, a platform-style game that should blow away the latest rounds of platformers. Sounds like big words, but we would indeed like to see what the Sonic Team is up to, especially if it's for the PS2.

Capcom Delays
According to a source outside of Capcom, two of the company's most wanted fall titles, Devil May Cry 2 and Red Dead Revolver, have been delayed until the first quarter of 2003. Sniff...but hey, that'll give gamers something to spend their money on in those slow dull months, right?

Wow, Sonic Team making a PS2 game. I thought they said they didn't like making games for PS2 (unless that was Amusement Vision).

I am happy that DMC2 and Red Dead Revolver might be delayed. I have too many games I want to play in the fall! Lol.

This is interesting. Sonic Team is developing for PS2? Right now that's the only system that they don't have a game for. Of course their commitment to Xbox is rather low too, with only PSO.

I wonder why they would want it on PS2, unless they're trying to take the spotlight from Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank.

Hmm...maybe Sonic Teams new game is another Sonic Game...or something entirely new? Well, I guess we'll have to wait to see if its true or not.
As for DMC2 and Red Dead Revolver being delayed, thats a good thing, seeing as delays usually mean better quality. And theres already tons of games for this fall anyway.
