Super skeptical of how "real time" this real time demo is and if it will be possible or feasible for an actual game.
Keep thinking back to the Killzone trailer from a few years ago. Claimed to be real time, was actually pre-rendered video of what a PS3 would be "capable" of. Games have gotten kind of close to that trailer, but never that good.

Its why I hate tech demos.. and CG trailers.
But people seem to like them, this one was impressive so figured would share
The whole middle-eastern thing seemed a bit out of place... There's another video of the actual presentation on youtube somewhere, it shows them doing stuff in real-time, looks legit and not CG. Having said that, fuck tech demos. How about some god damn games, Square-Enix? Remember that Final Fantasy Versus game you revealed in 2006? How about the fact that Final Fantasy 14 was a catastrophe, and you desperately need to build some hype for the 2.0 relaunch? Kingdom Hearts 3 maybe? Fuck this company is frustrating. They were the absolute kings in their hey day, and they haven't done one good thing since Final Fantasy 12 on the PS2.

QFT, although DQIX and the re-releases of DQIV-VI were good, too. I think I'm the only one in the universe who likes DQ, though.

Dude it was one of the best selling games on DS. I'm pretty sure the DQ games were what caused Japan to create that law saying you had to release games on the weekend because people would take off work to buy them.
You are not alone in liking DQ.

I probably shoudn't have said "universe," but instead said, "North America." Anyway, I know I'm not alone, but the series rarely gets talked about so it can feel like it.
Oh, and the law things is mostly an urban legend. DQIII did cause issues with truancy from work and school when it was released, but no law was ever passed requiring releases had to be on weekend or holidays. Its just that Enix started following that guideline of its own volition (probably to prevent that law from being passed similar to other self-governing situations).

Could someone post this video? I haven't been able to find it.
I am not surprised it's real-time. Graphics look like Uncharted-level of graphics, upgraded somewhat. Though calling the Uncharted style of rendering "real-time" is not quite... correct. But if you can't see the seams between the real-time parts and the pre-rendered parts, I don't care what it is.
