Sega Attempts some Damage Control on Sonic

This seems like 10 years too long, but...

"Any Sonic game with an average Metacritic has been de-listed," SEGA's SVP of EMEA Jurgen Post told MCV.

"We have to do this and increase the value of the brand. This will be very important when more big Sonic releases arrive in the future."

Think this also shows the problem with relying on Metacritic, but another discussion.

This actually seems like a pretty good thing. Prevents parents who don't know about video games seeing the word "sonic" and buying that for their kids, even if it's a bad game.
