Proudest Final Fantasy Accomplishment

So this is the post your proudest moment thread with final fantasy.

What was your proudest moment in a final fantasy game? Was it simply beating one of the games?

Was it perhaps something else?

I think mine was actually finishing not my first Final Fantasy (which was 3 on the DS) but finishing 9. I had had FFIX for years and I finally sat down and just played it non-stop (on my PSP most of the time) and I felt very gratified afterwards.

Probably finishing Final Fantasy Tactics. It's the first and only FF game I've beaten, other than FFTA.

I got pretty far in the War of the Lions remake. Such a great game.

I picked back up on FF7, though, and I hope to finish in the next couple of days.

I finished that one too, in the same way I finished FF9, but I really didn't feel as accomplished. I'm very much on the overrated side of the FF7 argument.

I think mine was probably getting excalibur II in FF9, or maybe beating Ozma in FF9. Ozma you were such a roughcore baddie.

Meaning absolutely nothing comes to mind for any game.

I did dominate FF9, 100% completion. Last game I ever did that for. I was strangely compelled to max everything out despite already beating the hardest enemies. The last traditional Final Fantasy too.... good times.

Actually, I change my answer - I'm pretty proud of beating any Final Fantasy game. I have such a ridiculous attention span at times that when I get to the end of a game, or really into a game - I'll suddenly stop playing it and completely forget about it.

The only ones I've beaten entirely are 8, 10 and 12. And one for the SNES, but I forget which one. For the record, I did play 7 right up until the very end, didn't beat it personally.

Which reminds me I still have like, 7 games I need to beat.

When I beat ultima weapon in 8 though I stayed in the fight until I drew 100 ultima for all 3 characters, So I didn't have to do that silly refinement stuff to get ultimas.
