Default Scorpion King Screens

Quote:
Universal Interactive has released the first screenshots from and information on The Scorpion King: Rise of Akkadain for the GameCube. Featuring an original story, players will control Mathayus as he attempts to become part of a deadly group of assassins known as the Akkadians. The game will include 12 levels of non-stop melee combat complete with weapon-based combo attacks. There are two weapons announced thus far including the sword and staff. Both weapons can be upgraded with a variety of powerups. There will be both human and supernatural enemies included in the game that must be defeated in order to attain the prestige of being an elite warrior.
With voice-overs recorded by The Rock, The Scorpion King: Rise of Akkadain is shaping up to be the next installment in The Mummy franchise. Look for our hands-on report from the E3 show floor later this week.

Not only does The Rock appear in several Wrestling games, but now he Stars in his very own game centered around his movie, quaint.

Don't count on it:

1 It's a game of a movie
2 It's an action game
3 Look at the character: almost always the same position
4 It's The Rock.

I just noticed that in only two shots The Rock... ahem I mean "The Scorpion King" has a shield attached to his arm/wrist... maybe you can equip different items... Then again maybe not
