Re: Mexican Clown Car
They must'v been crammed in soo tight that they all produced an airbag effect and no one got too injured. f'ing crazy amount of dudes in that car. did someone count exactly how many crawled out?
Couple summers ago my buddy's subaru wagon caught on fire on a dirt back road and some mexicans in a van picked us up. It was funny cuz there hasn't been all that many mexicans here in central BC until the last few seasons when they come to work in the orchards and farms...so the stereotype seemed funny having had little opportunity to actually see many mexicans up here, not to mention several packed in a van. we thought it was extra comical that they even stopped for us, since by any n/a standards the van was already full. lol I love mexico. such a convenient place to vacation.

Re: Mexican Clown Car
I counted at least 25 people, but apparently 7 were found injured at the scene, so I am willing to bet there was like 30 people crammed into that van.
Mexico is pretty sweet with the exception of Swine Flu.

Notice that many seem to be wearing nearly identical clothes as well. Agreed.

Re: Mexican Clown Car
I dunno how you would fake a car crash...not to mention there are no cuts during the crash (although there is one bad camera pan). And that appears to be CNN reporting it (I know, I know...they're not creditable even though they are a major news source).
Fake or not, still funny as hell.

Re: Mexican Clown Car
I bet somebody with high quality software could copy some of those guys running away. Of course it's harder because the camera is constantly moving. But it's possible.
And this isn't on the CNN site, it's on YouTube.
I don't think that car could even physically hold all those people. But I could be surprised.

It's not fake, it can't be fake i tell you, greatness like this does exist and happens everyday. Just like the Badger from my childhood.
Fake or not, this video made my day, thank you KillerGremlin.

Re: Mexican Clown Car
I am counting at leatst 12 - 14 people in the vid that I believe are in fact real. The first ones are obviously different people you can clearly see different hair styles and types of clothes. After that it get's a bit confuing, I saw a couple of people get out and run off when the camera was zoomed out but they just looked like black dots, I would call these fakes, they did not look right compared to the black dots that I knew were actually people.
My two main reasons for believing several of the other's are real are, firstly the shadows they are casting, you almost cant fake that, they seem too perfect to me. Look for the shadows of a few of the individuals as they run past a car, the shadows are the same shade and move/bend as they get between the car and the sun, the shadow now being cast on the car.
The second is the dust trails left by the people fleeing across the dirt wasteland type area, which in some way also endorses their shadows, they even leave tracks in the dirt where they have run.
Would someone really go to that much trouble to make this a complete fake?
Ftr: I do not believe it is 'all' real.
