I am now a father.

Of a kitten. :O

As my avatar indicates, and as I mentioned in another thread, my girlfriend and I recently adopted a 10 week old kitten from an animal shelter, and we named her Midna (after Link's sidekick from Twilight Princess, for those who don't know). It actually wasn't my idea to name her that, my girlfriend played Twilight Princess a couple of months ago, and thought Midna was cute/cool, and would make a good cat name.

Anyway, I have a few pictures here of her, which weren't staged. she just likes playing in the entertainment center.

Disclaimer: I do not use Internet Explorer. My computer just got repaired and reset to its factory settings, and I had to use IE to get Firefox. Yes, it pained me too.

Midna tries to power on the GCN.

Midna begins playing. Her high dexterity score allows her to use two controllers at once.

Time for a beer.

The buttons she was walking on beeped.

Fell asleep during a Final Fantasy XII loading screen.

She's so cute! I want one too!

I saw a puppy a few days ago, and I almost stole him from the owner. I was this close to doing it. I just wish they always stayed small like that..

Interesting coincidence - I went downstairs about 5 minutes ago and found a cat in our living room. A pretty big, Garfield-like one. At first I thought "wtf?!", then I thought maybe my parents had one, and when I realized that that was impossible, I saw that we'd left the door open. It tried to get out but got tangled in the curtains

I wish I could have a cat, but I'm just not home often enough for that. And I have a pretty small room... and there's a busy road nearby.

I hope to get a cat pretty soon. I will post pics when it happens and maybe ask for help in naming.

Cute kitty! I kind of want a puppy. A Dachshund to be exact since that breed of dog produced my favorite dog ever...But I can't get a dog until I have my own place/ stop touring. I couldn't desert the boy.

I love Dachsunds. I currently have a Golden Retriever which I love, but my first dog was a Dachsund. Er, I guess a minature Dachsund. They are just such cool dogs, everyone loves them. Mine got really fat because we fed it too many table scraps, the things belly damn near dragged the ground. Loved that dog though.
