BaB Stardate 5.18: Round Robin

My gaming taste has kind of been in a flux these past few weeks where I just tend to play a little of everything and not enough of anything.

Anyhow, I just finished playing some Halo 3 in god knows how long, and I don't know if it just me but Bungie seems to have lost the magic touch with their map making abilities and stuff. The new map pack (which name I can't remember) just seems so unbalanced and when the best map in the pack is a remake from your prior game you are in trouble.

I also played some Marvel Ultimate Alliance last night with Fox and Swan and came to the sad realization won't be able to play with them due to the distance.

Why it is only this game I have no idea, but it seems I am destined not to finish the game.

I've been trying to get into Rock Band more since my friend got it and he can play with his girlfriend so we atleast have a 3 member band online, but I just am not good at the game it seems.

It seems the only time I pop in GTA is when I play multi as I haven't progressed in the story in about a week or so. I really enjoy the game, but I just don't know why can't push forward in it.

Played some Mario Kart Wii and the Wii Wheel does take some getting use to but is a nice addition I feel.

The Wii Wheel is the only way to go. Speaking of which - I fixed my wireless situation! It turns out if I just move the Wii up to the level my TV is on and put it sideways, it's way, way more receptive to wireless. Wii Shop went from unmanageable mess to lightning fast. Who knew?

But... Bass guitar is so easy!

Are you sure you're playing on a calibrated TV? That does make a huge difference.

Yeah yeah.

Anyhow awesome moment in GTA multi.

Playing with friend and he is hiding on one of the bike ramps off the side from the cops while shooting me. So I take my car and squash through it and try to run him down, but he jumps or it barely touches him and I drive off since not enough room to reverse and stumble down some stairs. I figured what the hell reverse my car and try and drive up the stairs. And he is coming down to finish me off. Some how my car since it was uneven lands on top of him going up the stairs and killing him.

I then run over 3 cops to make my getaway.

I don't play bass much except online.

I tried it on like two songs today and I found I was sitting there forever waiting for notes to appear.

The band is back together again!

As my friend pointed out today, there seems to be a domino effect when it comes to games.

So I got Rock Band for my b-day from them. This week Squrel got Rock Band from his folks for his b-day. So our third friend got his Rock Band today. So we got a full band again. Earl McLovin shall live on!

I still really really suck at this game though. MY hands just can't seem to find themselves when I make a mistake. I just don't have that second instinct I tend to have in other games.
