This Week in the NFL (11)
- Packers win 31-17 over the Panthers. Improve to 9-1 and are clearly the best team in the NFC. The Dallas Cowboys are not real.
- McNabb injures his ankle in game with Dolphins. Philadelphia still wins.
- The Colts barely get by the Chiefs with a 13-10 win. Peyton has another un-Peyton like day.
- The Giants beat the Lions 16-10, in a show of the two biggest frauds in the NFC.
Thoughts and feelings?

Re: This Week in the NFL (11)
Not too many thoughts from me this week. The Eagles barely beat an 0-9 team though McNabb was injured for most of the game. The defense actually pitched a shutout if you can blame the special teams for Ginn's punt return. Certainly nice to get back to 5-5 and technically only one game out of a playoff spot, but with the Patriots looming next week, I'm not so comfortable.
By the way, Patriots up 28-7 on the Bills in the second quarter. Brady with 3 more TD passes, all to Randy Moss. Moss is certainly on a good pace to break Rice's single season mark.
EDIT: Make that 4 TDs for both Moss and Brady in the 1st half. Typical.
EDIT 2: Pats up 56-10 and went for it on 4th down twice within the Bills 10 yard line. Belicheck is an evil SOB

Re: This Week in the NFL (11)
I felt tingly, light-headed, and short of breath for the last 5 minutes of the Redskins/Dallas game...
Maybe I should have that checked out...

If the Patriots go 19-0 this year, karma does not exist.
In conclusion, karma does not exist.

The can lose to the Eagles - if there is a terrible flu pandemic on the New England roster, causing Brady to miss half the game due to frequent bowel movements, where he comes back 11:34 into the 3rd quarter, and only the 6th play of a drive gets sacked from behind and lands awkwardly on his right side, and fractures his forearm in 3 places, thusly causing the Patriots to lose the game, and Brady to have trouble wiping his own ass.

Re: This Week in the NFL (11)
Despite Pittsburgh's terrible play in week 11 (and a few other weeks), when they bring their A game they have the ability to beat anyone. Lets hope they bring their A game against New England.

Re: This Week in the NFL (11)
My Vikings spanked the Giants 41-17. We got 4 interceptions, 3 of which were run back for TDs. I better enjoy this now because it probably won't last, lol.

Eli Manning really is terrible.
Did anyone ever think he would be as good as his brother?

Re: This Week in the NFL (11)
Gah! Now I will agree with Stu, the Pats might be overrated if my Eagles could stick with them..
Though if the Eagles played like that all year, we'd be 8-3 and a playoff team, but that's not how it goes. Oh well, at least it was a fun game to watch.

Wasn't Stu referencing the Belichik video cheating scandal? Not that I agree with him. I don't see why karma would make the NE players lose, since it's Belichik's fault not the team's. Now If Belichik takes the Patriots to the Super Bowl with a 19-0 season, is winning the Super Bowl by 56-0, then in the last minute has a tv camera fall on him and fatally crush him, THAT would be fair karma. And if it doesn't happen that way, then karma doesn't exist.

Wow. Are you even allowed to say that at this point?
This is what happens when you judge a team by its play, and not the hype. They're beatable...several teams have the potential to beat them, and the Eagles proved they're one of them.

Well, I suppose I could rephrase that. I think their offense is as good as advertised, but their defense is not. Their defense has looked a little better up 35 points all the time.
That said, I still think they are going undefeated, and still arguably could be the best team ever, or at least grouped in the bunch.
Again though, every team is beatable at some point, and only the '72 Dolphins technically weren't "beatable" because they won every game, but they certainly could have been beaten. The '85 Bears lost a game along with many other Super Bowl champs were considered some of the best of all time. I just believe in this day and age that if they do go undefeated it will probably be the most impressive out of all those other historically great teams. Even if they lose once they'll still probably be grouped in there.
