Default Metroid Prime 3 pre-launch hype

I just bought me a used copy of Metriod Prime 2: Echoes, which I never played. Cost me €14,50 including shipping. I wonder if it's really as hard as you guys say.
I started playing Metroid Prime on hard mode when I was bored. Blast, it's really hard at some points, the first point being where you fight bees to get your first missiles. I didn't bother replaying it, I'd rather fight the end-boss again and start on MP2.

I found the NES Metroid for the AGB for €5, which I also started playing... It just sucks so incredibly hard that you can't save your health points (right?). You can only save when you die.... and after you die, you start with 30hp. It can take minutes before you're at 100 or 200 or... health. I downloaded a map to help me in my quest.

I loved Super Metroid, I think I beated it twice. Wasn't too fond of Metroid Fusion, it was too short and linear, but still very much worth playing. Never bothered with Metroid: Zero Mission or Metroid Prime: Hunters. Or pinball.

I'm very excited about MP3, even though I believe Europe doesn't even have a launch date for it.

Yea, Prime 3 is looking amazing. Prime 2 was a bit of a dissapointment for me though...there are some annoying, lets say "collecting" bits at the end that are really hard and annoyingl. I dont know if I would say the bosses in prime 2 were any harder than im Prime 1, though.

Yeah, I'm playing Prime 2 right now. I've been stuck for more than 2 years and I finally picked it back up.

I could never get past the first level (or maybe it was the second) of Metroid Prime 2. There was something about it that just rubbed me the wrong way, and I just couldn't continue playing it. It was very odd.

It was kinda like the Mario 64/Mario Sunshine deal...64 was awsome, ground breaking, the best of its generation, same goes with Prime, but then the sequals left something to be desired.

I get never get based the first level in Prime. Lost interest way too quickly. They really ruined the feel of Metroid going 3D. Should've pulled a Contra.

Anyway, I see MP3 as a reason for all the Wii fanboys to scream "tis iz teh bestest FPS of all time evar!1one" So far I can't stand that damn controller, so I tend to not care about Wii as a result. Very good emu box though, loving that.
