i do intend to see it, though i've heard one or two critics complain that death proof is "not exciting." I never did care for critic opinion, and kill bill 1 and 2 were both sexy time, so i'll be there.

that premiered at the drafthouse with the entire cast last week. missed out on that one.

well, it was weird... planet terror was soooo much action, and death proof was slower, but looking back on it, pretty damn sweet. and it gave a great ending to the whole thing. i really enjoyed both though.

Alamo Drafthouse? That's a great place. I remember my three cousins and I met up with my brother and his fiancé who live in Austin after a Guadalupe river toobing/camping trip one weekend, and we all went to the Alamo drafthouse to see Batman Begins. And for the beginning credits, instead of doing the typical commercials before the showing like the major movie theaters do, they played old Batman cartoons that were relevant to the movie's plot (i.e. ones with Scarecrow). Plus, as the name implies, they serve beer -- always a plus in my book.
