x360 > PS3 ?

You'd think that the PS3 versions would be exactly the same or slightly superior to the Xbox 360 versions, since many of these games appeared on the 360 months ago, but it seems like developers didn't use the extra time to polish up the graphics for the PS3. We found that the Xbox 360 actually had better graphics in the majority of the games we compared.

Does this mean really mean anything? Many of the PS3 shots look better to me, and these are ports we're talking about.

It looks to me as though a filter was added or lost in the port. I'll have to look more later, getting late for work.

I've spent time playing both, and they both look pretty solid.

I think the PS3 is capable of more than what we're seeing though. At least...I hope it is.

They're ports...over the next couple years, compare the games made exclusively for each system.

The conclusion is that the Xbox 360 has more buffer space for textures, but the PS3 is a little better at illumination, and that's exactly what I'm seeing in the gamespot comparison too. That, and **** is missing from PS3 versions - check out that one rearview mirror shot again and tell me nothing is missing. Not to mention that final Tony Hawk shot.

Companies are always lazy with ports. Hence why sometimes Xbox games didn't look that much better from their PS2 versions at first. Give it time
