Animal Crossing, formally known as Animal Forest Plus has been dubbed a ‘communication game’ a unique and promising title for the GameCube console. All the hustle about Animal Crossing began at E3 2001 where Nintendo revealed that their recently announced Animal Forest Plus videogame would be brought to the GameCube. With a few minor upgrades... of course. Many times unique Japaense videogames such as Animal Forest Plus stay in Japan and are never released in the United States. But with Nintendo making a first and releasing it State side hopefully the title will do well and we will be able to see more of those innovative Japanese games.
