City buses suck. Bus drivers even more so. They pull away and laugh if you attempt to run to make it before they close the door. And on Thursdays there's always this one drunk fellow who climbs in the back entrance to avoid paying the $2 and everyone yells at him until he cries and apologizes.

In elementary school we had a cool bus driver. Gave out candy on Fridays if we were good. Usually Now and Laters.

In middle school the kids hated the first one and got him fired. Always a fight. Then got a new fellow who would speed down this one street with a huge bump and everyone would climb on top of the seats to get ready for it. When we hit everyone would go flying in every which direction. That was fun...if a bit painful.

I have fond memories of class trips on Charter busses. So I guess charter busses would be my fav, besides that there is nothing more fun than trying to hit that little hole in the bathroom toilet while bouncing around going 70 on the interstate.

My favorite bus is the second tour bus that we got when we toured Germany for a few days. That bus was rather well hooked up.

omg, was it by chance a GLOBUS bus? I cruised around half of Europe in a GLOBUS bus in the summer of '96. Our tour guide was a chap named Wolfgang.
