What about the Revolution are you looking forward to?
I just figured that the Nintendo area needed a little bit more posting in it. I think that all of the avid Nintendo fans out there are most likely excited about the Revoultion. It seems as though it may turn out to be a great system, but of course there are also others with opinions that are the exact opposite. I was just wondering what was on everyone's mind because Nintendo isn't going to reveal much until E3, and that's still a few months ahead.
The controller is what I'm looking forward to the most, and I am also really curious about what kind of power this system has in it. I really just can't wait to get my hands on the controller though. There have to be so many different things you can do with it.

I'll be blunt...emulation.
If you think I'm dishing out money to pay for SNES and N64 games again...especially when a lot of them have come out on Gameboy, and I've already dished out twice as much cash...you're insane.
I like the idea that you can buy old games though, there will be games that I do buy.

I'm looking forward to everything about it. Free online, the entire backlog of games it'll offer (even if it is just the notables for each console), the controller that'll be a guaranteed bunch of laughs right out of the box, and just the way it'll sit there and look so damn sexy.

Mainly the controller to see how "funky" it is. But the back catalog of games is another plus for me. If they can make N64 games emulate to the point that they actually do work to say..keep them at a constant 30fps/60fps, I'll be even happier because we all remember how bad N64 games got sometimes *cough Perfect Dark Goldeneye*

Re: What about the Revolution are you looking forward to?
I am really excited about the Revolution. I'm looking forward to seeing the new technology.
I am a little concerned about the controller and playing style because I fear my mom will not adapt well to it. She thought the eye tool was really cool but she would never play the games. She prefers not to be moving and jumping around while she's playing. Although when we discussed the possibilities with Zelda (her favorite games) she seemed to perk up at the thought.
Personally, I think it will be lots of fun and I am already looking at my entertainment center and figuring out how to make room.

Can you imagine a SSB party where things get a little out-of-hand? I can see it now! Arms flailing, people yelling... great times are coming!
