Attached to your old systems?
Who here won't ever get rid of their old systems, even if you never use them? So far I've never gotten rid of any of my old consoles, and I don't plan to unless I get a really good offer. My collection of old console games is pretty big, and instead of buying new games, I find myself buying classic video games that I didn't get when the console was in it's prime.

I always keep my old systems, ya got to. No matter how long I go without playing them, I know there will be a moment where I will want to play them, so that's worth it to me. Also, I always end up ordering new-old games every once in awhile and this brings the system back to life for me. I got an Atari 2600 a little while ago and haven't played it, mainly because I only have one game.

We're keeping them. The last months, we've been buying more SNES games than new ones.

Yep I've kept any system I've ever bought.......oh wait I returned my GBA but that was because of problems with my vision. Other than that, yeah I've kept every one. Actually I've been playing No Mercy some on my N64......now if WMX8 would only get here .

I froze Pokémon Red Version in a cup of water and then smashed it the next morning. Other than that, I still have all that old junk.

I got rid of my PS1. I like to have 1 system that I concentrate on... but most likely I'll give my Dreamcast away after I get my GCN.

That is precicely what I do, however it is bloody near impossible to get hold of classics so I download a lot of roms and play them on emulator.

I don't find it that hard to find old classics, I've bought probably over 50 Snes/Nes/Genesis games from Funcoland. They don't always have all the games, but they are pretty good. I do have trouble finding Atari 2600 games though. Some of those Funco shipping charges can be quite expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Well, it depends on how many games you get because it depends on the total weight, but the highest I ran it was 20 or 30 bucks I think.
