See you all in a week!
Well, tomorrow morning I leave for LA. I went out and bought a 512mb SD Card for the camera as I expect to take quite a few pictures
The reason I'm gone for a week is because hte group I play with in City of Heroes is doing things besides E3 for the week. But if I can get access to something like a laptop, I'll upload a few teaser screenies until I get back to sort out all the pictures and then provide you all with goodness from what will already be seen on sites like IGN, etc..
But when I'm fully home also, I'll give a complete analysis, opinions, comments, etc...of what I saw/messed with (I'll have my DS there also for hands-on things with whatever NIntendo shows off ). I'll make sure to take notes in case I forget
But anywho. Have fun and um...try to stay out of trouble
*runs off to bed knowing I'll have only a few hours of sleep before flight*

Jonbo, have a great time. You deserve to have some extreme fun. Good luck with your City of Hero ventures as well as the E3 experience. Play EVERYTHING and take pictures of celebrities for us. See when you get back, friend.

Have fun man! Don't forget the booth babes.
...
I'm serious!
Well, I shouldn't be worrying. You'll take 10 pictures of each anyways. That's the GT spirit.

Re: See you all in a week!
Lucky, lucky, lucky...I've wanted to go to E3 for a long time now...I definitely will never be able to go until I'm out of college because school doesn't end here until June every year, so I know I'll have to wait at least a couple of years. Maybe some day I'll be able to venture there. I've never even been to California...
Good luck though. I expect some good impressions and content! I'll be following on from Vermont, but you'll have the hands-on impressions!

Re: See you all in a week!
Hello again! Coming to ya from LA/E3 since I got access to one of the laptops they have available.
First basic impressions.
Nintendo - Just not as great of show this year. Their "booth area" didnt impress me much.
Microsoft - Great job so far from the look of it. Only a very few handful of 360 games that didnt impress me much honestly but its only E3.
Sony - Same as above. Great conference but on the floor, its....ok. Not great great but still awesome nonetheless
Overall - I think the press conferences were better then the on the flor stuff. Nintendo should be running Revolution videos back to back and at least have console prototype behind a glass case or something.
But this E3 has still been awesome so far. Got a ton of pics. I also got something EXTRA special that you'll see when I can upload all my images I dont have many booth babes on dig. camera but I do have some.
Damn my feet hurt from all my walking >_<

Good to hear you're having a good time, Jonbo.
Make sure to give some impressions on games. Okami, some DS software, etc etc. Enjoy yourself, and don't worry about getting pictures of booth babes. We're on the internet, we can search for all the beautiful women we want.

Re: See you all in a week!
There are zelda DS preview cards for free giving out? I must've missed it unless I'm being lied to
But anywho. I wont have impressions for a ton of games. I have played a fair amount but nothing like Okami. Played some DS games but not many since not all interested me. Hell, Nintendo's booth is like 90% DS, 9.9% Gamecube and that damned Gameboy Micro (frickin small =O )
But anywho. Got to mess around with Zelda for a bit. Mainly messed around with the horse ride battle and just.....awesome stuff. This is gonna turn out very very well from my little time with it.
I got to mess around with Full Auto (from Sega) for the 360 and its pretty good. It feels more like a tech demo since just about anything can be rammed into and hurt/destroyed. But its still an awesome racing game nonetheless. The unwreck "button" is the best thing about it so far from the look of it.
I'll be back home sometime Saturday night then I'll begin sorting out pictures on computer (pushing the 200 mark and still a few hours to go but I already got most of the images I wanted anyways on Day 1 and 2 ).
Thanks for the good lucks, etc... See you all again back on Saturday night or sometime on Sunday before I go back to work >_<
