REVOLUTION vs. PS3

This poll HAS to be posted. The votes are in and gamers have decided that they would rather have a PS3 than an Xbox 360. No surprise, easy win.

However, this morning at 9:00 A.M., the slumbering PS3 was awoken by the mighty revealing of THE REVOLUTION.

Gamers across the world instantly hailed it as the BEST design and SLEEKEST package without any question.

And we haven't even seen its graphics yet!!!!!!

Now comes the moment of truth!

Which console will take the system throne in your living room?

PS3 or KING Revolution?

I agree, it's the best looking system... but it's not so much good looking that it will take away from PS3's graphical capacity....

I was set on the PS3 from the start, but seeing the Press Conference has only carved my feelings into stone. PS3 will sit on my Entertainment Center throne, this 2006.

It almost seems like you guys are jumping to conclusions just over the Rev's design.....

its a funny thing about looks. Size will usually be the main factor in how good the console looks.

If they were All the EXACT same size, but thier own shapes. Xbox360 might actually look best. and nintendos design, being a giant block wouldnt look good. However as it is, its not a giant block, its a very small block, and that makes it look better.

i dont like it setting in its little tray standing up on an angle. but i do like the small flat shape of it. it does look good.

As of right now. i really dont want to spend a ton of money next gen, i only plan on getting 1 console. its looking like its going to be PS3 at this point, but we still got a while to go till i have to make that decision final.

we dont know anything about the revolution but based on looks... revolution... graphics probably ps3

I kinda find it funny how some people feel they must strongly represent their support for a gaming company.

lol, and as for systems... i don't care right now. Neither won't be here til next year. =]

Ah yes. The graphical capacity that blows away Nintendo's released Revolutions specs and videos. I admit, you're right.

How in God's name anyone could vote for the Revolution when they haven't seen ANYTHING for it, is beyond me. If you're saying that a picture of a black box is better than the PS3's entire showing, you are crazy.

It said pick a system that you will buy. Based on what I've seen and heard, Revolution excites me more. Sure, PS3 packs a powerful punch, and is a great looking system, but it still is lacking any excitement in my mind.

The Revolution sounds great to me. Downloading NES, SNES, and N64 games? Awesome. Plays all my Cube games? Awesome. Online Smash Bros at launch, plus a brand new Miyamoto game? Awesome. The unknown REVOLUTION itself? Can't wait to find out about it.

That's how people could pick Revolution.

Revolution of course. The console looks awesome, as does the controller, backward compatibility with all consoles (including PS2 and (BOX), and in game screen shots.

The arcade library for Nintendo Rev being able to download is fine and dandy and all...

But did you forget the PS3 also let's you play their library of games dating back to their 1993 Playstation? You won't need to download them....and if you've kept any of your old PSX games, and of course ps2 games.... you'll be able to play them.

So Nintendo and Sony are both kinda on the right track in terms of backwards compatibility. Since Nintendo only went disc-format for the GameCube, it could only offer such backwards compatibility but is offering backwards compatibility to NES through other means.

Microsoft... I have no idea what your going to do about this...
