Your Choice for Next-Gen
Since I don't have access to the Survey Says forum, I might as well post it here. I want to know everyonces Choices for the next-generation. Whether it be prediction, false hopes, loyalties or what not.
what do you THINK... you'll be getting this next-gen? It doesn't matter if that'll change when everything is revealed... I just want to know what you guys are wanting at this moment.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
If some heavenly figure were to come to me right now, and asked me what next generation console I wanted, I would take the Microsoft system.
I have very high hopes for it, and if history repeates itself, thant he Microsoft system will be the best in the next generation as well. It is simply the most powerful console on the market. It has the best graphics, a harddrive, and the best online support.
I do not want sony's next system. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think that the playstation stole my video gaming soul. I havn't been enjoying games nearly as much as I used to when I was younger, and I blame sony. I don't know if anyone else feels it, but it just seems like the Playstation and it's games don't have the same soul or passion that the other systems do. It just has a cold, corporate feel about it. It's not fun.
The Xbox, however, has seemed to bring back some of that joy. I have had more fun on my Xbox than any of my other systems, and I just cannot stress enough how much I love the hard drive. I really hope that the next Microsoft system has one.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
if I buy one, it would probably be the PS3, because I like Sony, and of the whole backwards compatability (I think/hope) and all.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
Well definitely Backwards compatibility..... just means we can sell our PS2's and keep our ps2 games and save some money on the initial purchase of the ps3..... Thats why I like Sony.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
I'll buy a Revolution because I can't live with myself if I don't play every Zelda or Mario game that is created, simple as that...
Probably a PS3 as well, to give me the 3rd party games that the Rev won't.

Yeah, I'm not posting as much in general and rarely in the the next-generation threads...I just don't keep up with the news as I used to though I still will always like video games.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
Nintendo Revolution.
I have a strong intuition that the Revolution will be defined by being released with a revolutionary game that will reaffirm current Nintendo worshippers and convince other gamers to follow Nintendo.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
Nintendo Revolution, of course. The only one I know will have great games within 1-2 months of release. Gamecube had Smash Bros and Pikmin.

Re: Your Choice for Next-Gen
If I'll get a next-gen console, it will be a Revolution. But I might not even get that...
I think the best choice would be a Revolution AND a PlayStation3. You don't wanna miss out on the action that Nintendo offers you, but you also want your old fashioned games.

Im fairly undecided because I don't know enough about any of the consoles, but If I had to pick one right now...
Revolution.
