Re: Rules for CCCT HALO 2
Crash, Crashette, and my self are all in Colorado Springs. You probably know Crash and Crashette, Crashette lives in the UCCS dorms.
As for Halo 2 modes and weapons:
1) If you want team based games I would recomend 4 on 4, there aren't alot of maps that would be good for huge amounts of players.
Some maps good for team slayer are Lockout, Ivory Tower, Midship, Foundation, and Ascenstion.
If you want Capture the flag I would consider Zanzibar 1 flag, CTF fast, also first to 3 instead of 4 rounds prevents the team with dumb luck from winning and ties. Assault is also good on Zanzibar. Lockout is also good for 1 flag CTF and teamball. Burial Mounds and Coagulation tend to take forever and have a lot of stale mates. Foundation could be good for 4 team CTF, but wouldn't recomend team ball on that map. Collosus is good for standard CTF. Midship is good for Assault with nuetral bomb.
I would recomend default weapons. Shotguns on Midship can be fun, or rockets on Collosus is ok.
If you do want large teams CTF or assault on Water Works and Headlong are ok.
2) If you are looking for everybody vs. everybody the best maps are: Lockout, Midship, Ascention, Ivory Tower, Foundation, and Collosus. Some people like Beaver Creek, but I think it is old and shouldn't be in the game. Wouldn't recomend more than 10 players on these maps.
The best mode is slayer, but oddball can be good on Lockout and Ascension. Crazy King is good on Ascension.
If you want to mix up weapons try shotguns on Midship, rockets on Collosus, or Feista oddball on Ascension.
For more than 10 players Burial Mounds, Head Long, or maybe water works.
I think that covers most of the best possibilities.
