What is your favorite game so far for the PS2? I think that i would have to say mine is, by far, GTA 3, that game kicks ass, and if you ask me its the reason to own a PS2.

I'd have to say GTA3 also... Although I havn't played it in awhile... I played the hell out of it a lil' bit ago... now I'm busy playing the hell out of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance... and soon I will get my copy of Virtua Fighter 4 in the mail...
Anyways, yeah GTA3...

As a total hardcore metal gear fan, you realize that I have to say Metal Gear Solid 2. I simply willed myself to get over the lameness of Raiden, and took comfort in the fact that Kojima WANTED us to hate him. Really, besides Raiden, that game is perfect.

I liked MGS2 a lot too... but GTA3 was just sooo crazy fun...
I didn't even have a problem with raiden, unlike most people I've heard...
They all go "oOOOOO RAIDNEE IS GHEY!"
or "HE'S A WUSS!" and crap like that...
I really like seeing Snake, but not playing as Snake... I thought it was really neat... and it also opens up the POSSIBILITY of a little add-on or extras in a MGS2 version on another console where you play as snake for the whole big shell part... sneaking in, meeting up with raiden, doing stuff in the other part of the big shell... I dunno if they'll do that or not though
But really what the hell is wrong with Raiden?
Sure he wasn't all tough with a "tough sounding voice" like Snake... and he had his GF talking to him during the mission... and he said a couple corny things, but oh well...

I can't pick a favourite
Metal Gear Solid 2
Grand Theft Auto 3
Hot Shots Golf 3
Madden NFL 2001/2002
Explanation:
-Metal Gear Solid 2 is a classic. The story, the music, the edge of your seat gameplay. It all flows together perfectly. I loved the story, the whole idea of >spoiler< having the whole story a test to see if there can be more Solid Snakes is so unique and memorable >end spoiler<
-Grand Theft Auto 3 can be summed up into two words: Guilty Pleasure. There's never been a game quite like this before (and if you say GTA or GTA2 were, you're way off).
-Hot Shots Golf 3. Yes, the unexpected. But golleee, I haven't had this much fun with a next gen videogame since my first experience with SSX. Actually, this is probably more fun. This is the best damn golf game ever made, and I love golf. Put those two together, and you get my reason for having this among my top 4.
-Madden NFL 2001/2002. Had to add this because I've probably spent 100 hours playing the two games combined. I don't have 2001 anymore, but I'm still playing 2002. I can't wait for this year's batch of football games to hit the shelves. Online Play? Mmmmmmmmm...

After playing Metal Gear Solid 2 for over 20 hours these last 3 days, I'm going with that. The story was so awesome, the graphics are great, I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Definately GTA3. This game is fun as hell. No matter how many old ladies you kill with a bat or helicopters you shoot down, it nevers gets old. Who would have thought murder could be so fun... .

Have you played those games? Or are they your "most wanted" titles for the PS2?

I'd have to say Final Fantasy X. As much as I liked GTA3, it got boring after a while...but thats just me, I guess, I'm mostly into RPGs.
