Spring Break
So, it is getting to be that time of the year again. Spring Break!
What are you all doing for spring break? I need some ideas. It is my senior year of college, and I should do something fun.

It's another night in hell, Another child won't live to tell
Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well, Another soldier has to yell
Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now amen, amen, amen

Re: Spring Break
Senior year of college, wow, you're almost finished, you definitely have reason to celebrate and party!
For spring break, our family is hoping to get out of town. Maybe go to Calistoga, DisneyLand, Palm Springs, or Lake Tahoe.
For you, I would suggest a road trip with either Jeepnut exclusively or Jeepnut in addition to other friends. I'm not familiar with your state and the cool places to go, but I'd visit some or all of them on your roadtrip. Maybe drive to another state or across country? Or maybe go camping. As long as it's relaxing and fun because you are coming to another major transition point in your life; from student to general citizen so you need to make it something memorable.
I'd also like to award you public recognition for your recent storm of great topics and thread creations. You have become an invaluable asset to this organization and have earned your rightful spot in the GT Elder Society. In addition to your contributions, you are a great role model for female gamers who post at forums. If you ever left, a part of GT would be missing forever and could never be rebuilt. I'm nominating you for the first annual GT Member of the Year award.

Re: Spring Break
I don't get a Spring break here, so I'm not really going to be doing much at all. We do get a 5 day weekend type deal (Wednesday-Sunday, no classes) which I'll go home for because the Spinto Band is playing some shows around then. That isn't until mid-April though because I just got back to scholl two days ago.

Re: Spring Break
No Spring Break. Our Winter semester is going to chug right until the end of March, and then we have exams in April. I doubt I'll be going in for the summer semester (unless I don't pass my current Calculus) so that's a good.. 4, 5 months off? Yeah. That's enough break for me.

Re: Spring Break
Wow, thanks for the praises Gamemaster! They are much appreciated.
As for the road trip. That's what had been the thought. But jeepnut doesn't think his parents will let us go alone, and I'm not too confident that anyone else will want to go.
However, I had thought about Chicago. It would be fun to visit (this time for more than a few hours) and one of jeepnut's favorite bands is playing there during that week.
We're from MO so the options are kind of limited since I am trying to minimize cost.
And Null, I'm jealous. I would love to get to see the Caribbean. You'll have to bring back plenty of pictures.

Re: Spring Break
I'm probably going to Nelson or camping...or doing both. Nelson is the town in BC where all the draft dodgers went to. It's a pretty crazy town now.
I had mexico planned with a bunch of my friends but we only had 4 people for sure and the money was a bitch.
anyway, camping+bud+booze+and a little bit of mush.
should be a crazy 2 weeks.
oh, and I have a rockin boat so we'll be having fun with that.

Hey Null, since your passing down my side, bring a few cube games with ya and drop them off for me when you pass by Barbados, ok?

I've been to Akron and driven through Cleveland if that counts...We might go to Cleveland this summer. I'll tell you that Akron is not very cool though...it's sort of a ghost town.
