Solve the clues, find the treasure

The jackpot is actually 12 jewels hidden in very public places around the United States. Think diamonds, think rubies, think the rarest, most perfect Kashmir sapphire.

Re: Solve the clues, find the treasure
You know, my room mate said that her teacher informed her that diamonds really aren't that precious. Apparently there are plenty of them...
Although, if you've got a really big one with few imperfections...i'm sure its worth a lot.
Sounds interesting. It'd be neat to be one of the people to find one based on the clues.

Re: Solve the clues, find the treasure
I read that. It's cool because some of the jewels or maybe all of them are designed in the form of different animals like a spider and beetle. I'd rather accidently find one than attempt to search for them. He claims the the clue are 'right in front of you' which translates to 'they're so well hidden that no one will ever find them'.

Saw blades used to cut through concrete are tipped with diamonds.

Those diamonds are considered to be flawed in some way.
It's a good diamond that's expensive.

If I'm not mistaken, dentist tools are diamond-tipped as well.

Yes, diamonds are not rare. The only reason they cost so much is because only 1 or 2 foreign companies or something own almost all the diamond mines in the world. That way they can control the flow of diamonds into the marker.
Diamonds are not rare at all. In fact, you could almost call them common. They are rare because of control of demand.

Re: Solve the clues, find the treasure
"tackle repositories" could mean something along the lines of (just a guess here) looking near landfills. "tackling" could just mean taking care of something. so in ohter words, sift through trash to find treasure? or maybe i'm taking it a bit too far....

Re: Solve the clues, find the treasure
You don't have to sift through anything, the tokens are in plain sight.

Re: Solve the clues, find the treasure
I think I picked one up thinking it was a Sacagawea dollar. I used it to get Squirt.
It was worth it.

That was what I originally thought when I read the clue.

Shucks you beat me to it.
Although Blackmane is correct, I sure wouldn't mind having a diamond or two.
