PSP Smashy Smashy
http://www.mobilegamearena.net/news_133.html
To celebrate the one month anniversary of the PSP some guys with too much disposable income decided to run over their PSP with a car and hit it with a baseball bat in the streets of Tokyo.
Doesn't he look happy? Or deranged?

Re: PSP Smashy Smashy
*cries*
I hate seeing people smash nice things. Nice things that I want and don't have.
That's a surprisingly durable piece of hardware though.

Lol, remember the movie where they wrecked a Cube? That one was better because it had funky music.

what was the first to be done? cuz ever since the first one, they've made one for every piece of hardware thats come out.... they dont seem to realize that its not really amusing anymore. the cube one's music was cool tho. thats the one where they tied a rope to its handle and draged it behind the car didnt they?

Re: PSP Smashy Smashy
under any other circumstances would I be bitching about how they are treating the PSP... but this is a special circumstance..
you see.. they are TRUE fanboys... if not just idiots.
I would never spend my money on a rival handheld/console just to destroy it for the general amusement of the public.
I dunno who you have to be to waste your money doing something like that. Verbally bash or hate the system... but it just seems tedious to spend your money like that.
But if you have an unlimited pool of resources.... why not (i guess thats what they have)

Re: PSP Smashy Smashy
i remember when they tried to destroy a gamecube, dragged it behind a car for a mile and threw it off a balcony... it still worked... it wasn't until they hit it with a sledge hammer 5 times before it broke
i also remember when someone got a ps2 on launch day and ran it over with a car.. died instantly.
people are just plain psychos I tell ya

Re: PSP Smashy Smashy
the Gamecube just looks like a small durable box... i'm not surprised it wouldn't break immedately.

Whoa now. You're just ASSUMING they're fanboys. I'm guessing most of the creators of these videos don't even care about video games in the first place and they just like creating a little controversy.
Of course, at the end of the Gamecube bashing, the "I told you NIntendo sux!!" was uncalled for. These PSP guys have a little more taste.
