Because the news with the franchise keeps on rolling.

This film ISN'T part of Disney's new Star Wars Trilogy, but another Star Wars film, which apparently will be loosely based on Seven Samurais

I think Snyder is a perfect fit for Star Wars. I want to see some lightsaber fight scenes that are well choreographed.
