smarties anyone?
Smarties are bugged
October 29, 2004 - 12:22PM
Vegetarians in Britain criticised the makers of top-selling sweet Smarties today for using an ingredient obtained from crushed beetles.
The brightly-coloured snack contains a red dye processed from the dried body of the female cochineal insect, collected in central America.
-----
Guinness uses isinglass, a form of gelatine made from fish bladders, in the production process to make the stout clearer.
-------
The second runner-up was Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts, which contains gelatine made from animal bones, according to the Vegetarian Society.
-------
that explains y the red ones taste better

Re: smarties anyone?
All i know is in the US, they have a certain preservative thingy in their chips that if you eat too many chips, it causes anal leakage.
Thank god for Canada and our no anal leakage oil laws.
I guess Americans just love oil that much.
Thers disgusting things in everything.
Never eat the gravy at KFC.
Its concocted of all the grease, and like, pan scrapings, and anything else, squeezed into a liquid, done something with overnight, and then turned into "tasty" gravy.
But still...im happy my chips dont cause anal leakage.

I am disgusted and enraged. How could Australia get away with that for so long?

animal bones... they're probably dead, so why not make use of the bones too?
