Does anyone know where I can get some really good, and I mean good, anti-viral software for free?

It would be muchly appreciated.

AVG is the most widely known free AV software that I've heard is pretty good. Don't use it myself as I have Norton but I've heard good things about it.

I've heard from someone who had a nasty virus that both AVG and McAfee didn't work....

Each AV product can have its own problems. Usually if you keep it updated, you wont get that nasty virus now will you
