Family worries as Creston man has 'vanished'

This is one of the headlines in the province newspaper.

Its about my friend whos been missing since the 4th. Nobody has seen or heard from him since then, They found his truck on the highway, but it was empty.

He left everything he had at home, everything. He always takes his stuff with him, always. But he didnt even have his wallet or cell phone.


Ive known he was missing since i got back from my vacation.

Today (I think), he was supposed to come down to PoCo and hang out with me and my brother. Dont tell anyone with "news" power, because neither of us want to be interviewed.

Hes 22, 6'2'', and weighs 220lbs. He has short brown hair, and is built like a motherfu****.

Im not here asking advice or condolences, im not going to post his name. But if you live in the BC region, the story is on page A8.

Please, dont post a bunch of empathy and sympathy, it would make me feel worse.

Dont try and defend youself for looking like a fool. Because i dont really care. I have more things on my mind than to have petty arguments with my friends over which newspaper the article is in, and stuff like that.

Since I dont know who gave me them this is general:

Lets see how you act when a friend youve had since you were 5 and was pretty much like an older brother to you goes missing. Im sure if you miss one of the most important people in your life you'd be a little rude too. At risk of being - repped upon oblivion, this is my blog, i can post my feelings and express them.

I just got on so I didn't -rep you and if I do normally -rep someone i say it's me I hope your friend makes it home safely and / or he turns up and was never really missing just on vacation and had loaned his truck out.

They found a body in Creston today.

And again, well, they ID'ed the body as his. The body was so badly burnt at first, the couldnt tell even what race it was.

I havent been able to go to school or concentrate since Tuesday after school when my mom told me they found the body.

There are so many things going through my head.

Like, for one, it HAD to be pre-meditated. Because hes a big (muscular) guy. It would take like, 4 guys just to subdue him.

The whole time ive been thinking how he died, the cops havent told us yet. All we know is the body was set on fire. I know it sounds horrible, but i pray he got shot first.

In 3 days ive only got 2 hours of sleep. Every time i close my eyes i see him getting killed in different ways.

And it sucks because the last thing i ever said to him was "Yeah, i could take ya." Then i left my backyard and headed off to Dylans.

I can picture it perfectly. I couldnt imagine it before, but now that hes gone i can picture everything that happened on the last day i saw him like it happened this afternoon.

I have no idea why im posting this here, because its super personal, but im hoping very few people have me unblocked, so as nobody reads this.
