Re: Rome:Total War Screens
I don't see the war elephants. Nor the Orcs.
Looks sweet, mass units are cool.

Are you able to catapult diseased animals into enemy castles?

Re: Rome:Total War Screens
What? Aren't flaming pigs good enough for you?
I don't think you can but I also don't think that its historically accurate either. I don't think they did that back then as the plague didn't happen until Medeival times (and no, you couldn't do it in Medeival: Total War either )
AS for the War Elephants... download the Demo and you'll see what I mean. Watching a few elephants decimate an entire unit of Legionnaires ticklesme in funny places...

Re: Rome:Total War Screens
It looks cool, but there's no way in hell it would run on my PC. So I guess it's a few more years of Starcraft for me.

I've never seen a downloadable demo that cost money.
Will the demo run on my AMD 2400+ with 512 MB RAM and 128MB video???

It will run beautfully. I have a 2500+ (overclocked) 512 megs of ram and a 9800Pro and it runs perfect so you wont have any trouble.
