Do you think...
There are still Characters to be unlocked in SSBM that nobody knows about?
I have all the characters, and it looks like 2 more would fit in the corners on the character selection screen.
Sonic and Tails, anyone?

Maybe there's some sort of thing where you do something in Sonic Adventure 2 and then SSB:M reads the memory card and if you have done the thing, you get sonic as a character
or maybe there's something else like that for some other game...
I dunno... but y'know kinda like the thing in MGS... if you have castlevania data on your memory card, Phycho Mantis says like "Ahh... you like Castlevania don't you?" heh heh...
but I doubt it

You need to have a 3rd option: "No, are you f**king crazy?" -- that's what I'd vote
No, I don't think so.

No! But if you do well in classic mode a second hand comes out of nowhere.

I dount there are any more characters. And if they were it is highly unlikely they are Sonic and Tails. Its this type of thing that starts wild rumors and stuff about how to get these super secret things that nobody knows about.

You could always find out if GC had an Action Replay or Explorer. There again thay might just be characters removed from the final version for whatever reason, it's possible then that Sonic was in fact an intended character after all, but for some strange reason they took him out.

I was thinking something along the lines of star wars rouge squadron for N64. I remember they released that well before Episode 1 came out, and when it did, they released a secret code to unlock the Naboo Starfighter...ya know, nintendo might just surprise the hell out of us and give us a code or something for a new character. Or prolly not, im not trying to start any rumors, just theoritically.

Maybe those spaces are for Master Hand and Giga Bowser...requiring one to accomplish a very difficult task to earn these players...
