I've seen this, the first video too, before he performed his blindfold stunt. It's very impressive, I think he's self-taught also. I want to learn how to play the piano.

that guy has played piano all his life...the mario songs he couldve got the notes of the net somewhere, because it would be imposible to learn them like that from the game unless he has photographic memory ( or whatever you call it), odds are he doesn't though...i am however very impressed, it took him a lot of time to study all those songs so well...

I wonder if he can do the Yoshi noise (you know when you jump on yoshi)?

I can do the right hand part of the main theme to mario, pretty well without looking. I'd just have to learn the bass part to make it sound better. I use the sound test from SSBM to learn these songs, because I have an electric piano in my basement where my videogames are.

Edit: 800 woohoo...that was pretty fast for me from 700 to 800..but it was probably because of the music battle.
