Awesome Week - Day 1 summary

June 22/2004

The week started off with a large social gathering at my abode. 13 people were on the guest list but thankfully only 11 showed up throughout the course of the day. People had to come and go all day so at any given time we had the exact amount of managable people at my house. One more person would have been devastating, I realized.

We sat around and talked and played a lot of Gamecube games. The whole reason I got the cube was for this. Playing games with friends. But we played Wario Warez, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Soul Caliber 2. A few of us played a WWII online FPS called Day of Defeat on my computer. We had to switch off a lot. We even played Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 as a group. It turned out to be a pretty successful and enjoyable gathering. I think I may have another closer to the end of the summer.

Was Day 1 awesome?

-Had a party
-Had fun at said party
-Played lots of video games with friends
-Party went smoothly

Yep. Day 1 was awesome. I have something planned for saturday now too. If I can find something to do for Sunday, this will have been a great freakin week. Maybe going to Playland? Hmmmmm.

You left out Four Swords, which is my new GC favourite game.

( And towards the end, me, Andrew and Brian didn't reall notice Cedric was there....)
