I love my "new" Dreamcast
I finally got my DC in the mail off ebay and I'm pretty glad I waited until now to get it. I paid like $15 or so and was supposed to get the console, 1 controller, a stupid fishing game, and av cables/power cord. But when it came today, it had 2 controllers, 2 mem cards/jump packs, and 3 games. (the other 2 are NHL2k and NHL2k2 which I wont play much). So I'm soo happy with it. And I also bought Vigilante 8 2nd Offense and Berserk: Guts Rage. Great games.
And now I just got an iso of Rush 2049 off a torrent and it booted and worked fine on the DC. So I'm gonna be burning like a madman
But anywho. Just thought I'd share the excellent adventure I'm having so far with my "new" DC. Any games you'd recommend I buy that I'm not thinking of (just blurt a few out)
*awaits '64 coming in the mail*
*edit*
and also, I've noticed that the DC has become a haven for homebrews but im not really 100% sure on what sites could be doing stuff with the DC that I can use/mess with or something.

Re: I love my "new" Dreamcast
I've been thinking about going to EB's one of these days and seeing what Shenmue is going for right now since I rented it a long time back and played a little bit on a friends DC but never really got too far into the game.

Re: I love my "new" Dreamcast
I'd get Jet Set Radio, maybe Crazy Taxi (probably cheap), Virtua Tennis, Shenmue II (british import, if you can find one. )
Edit: I just remembered how lucky I was to get the Shenmue II...my EB had two imported and I was the first to reserve one, great game too.

Re: I love my "new" Dreamcast
Didn't really get into Jet Set. Right now I'm unpacking (slow as all get up) an iso with 5 dc games that has CT 1&2 on it. A good tennis game wouldn't hurt. And maybe ebay for Shenmue2

Are you sure it was a stupid fishing game and not Seaman? 'Cause Seaman ruled.

Re: I love my "new" Dreamcast
Seaman did rule, I'm sure he is talking about Sega Bass Fishing, Sega Bass Fishing 2, Reel Fishing Wild, or Sega Marine Fishing.

Instead of making a double post, I'll just make a reply here.
I ordered Seaman with mic for $1 on eBay (real deal). shipping was $7 but meh, I just want to play with Seaman and make the man go all crazy on me.

Re: I love my "new" Dreamcast
Grandia 2 is a DAMN good game from what I can remember. Might seem a little dated by todays standards, but if you can pick it up super cheap who cares? I also spent a lot of time with Crazy Taxi. Incredible, considereing there's really no goal to beat in the game. Ack...I know theres some awsome DC game I used to play that was awsome...I just cant remember...maybe its about time to go fish through my old DC games.
