Arrow Christmas Story

Well, I'm back, sorta... and I had a very long Christmas break (first day of school today). I logged on to GT a total of 3 times over the last month and it wasn't because I was going to keep my word on leaving (sorry Penguin ), it was because of one of the more insand events that has happend in my lifetime.

Well, only 3 people (2 of which are currently banned) at GT know that I moved into a new apartment last week. Well, December 26th I had to move again, and that evet pretty much destroied my chances of connecting to the net from my home for now.

Here in Bakersfield on Christmas day it was raining all day... and the ceiling of our living room started to leak at about 2:00am. We called the manager and the matinence man all day, but because it was christmas I guess they refused to work and respond to any of our pages.

The leaking started as a few drips and by 4:00PM we had at least 10 towels down combating the water that was dripping. We were supposed to go to a family function at 5:00 but my mother was moving slow for some reason, when we were ready to go and just when we were turning out the lights there was a huge crash and we could hear water just pouring down, the ceiling of the apartment fell in.

So, we called the fire department and they said that there is a huge risk of mold in the house and that we have to move as soon as possible. That night we came to find out that the matinence man lived right next to us and he said that his cell phone wasn't ringing... he ended up ripping up he carpet and we ound out that there was already a huge amount of mold in the apartment already, and that the cement under the carpet was cracked extremely bad.

So the next day we moved and well, because we were on a lease and they broke it we were given the option to re-sign the lease or stay in another apartment for free temporarily (90 days) then move... we got to see the other apartment before making the decision and well, we are going to move again.

We aren't able to move the phone or cable over to the second apartment yet because we would have to pay the instalation fees again, and because moving costed so much to begin with. The problem with the new apartment is that it is of much lower quality than the old one. The roof has the same water damage (not busted down, just buldging) and under the sinks there is major water damage... but the showers don't work as well, and the house looks generally older and nastier.

Preperations ave already been made to sue them for our losses... there was only one casualty with the ceiling falling down, our expensive ass sterio.

So um, that's why I haven't been here and how I have pretty much lost all touch with the outside world from my home. So your job is to tell me what I have missed in the gaming industry

I have magizined but they manage to come a month early and have information that's a month late.... if there is and "huge" news I need to know about please tell. You know the type of crap I look for, Matrix, EA, WWE, Xbox... stuff people here generally don't like

Oh, and FFXI clan... I'm getting the game, for Ps2, this situation set back the timing of me getting any type of new computer. Over the break I spent a lot of time playing Madden, NCAA football, and NBA Live. I also have spent a ton of time playing Morrowwind. At first I thought this game was pretty crappy, but when I learned how to play and what I would have the most fun doing in the game it got pretty fun... yep, with a guy like me in morrowind shop owners are dropping like flies.

But anyway, I'm back... while still in a much smaller role than I used to be in, I'll be more active than in the last 4-5 weeks.

P.S. I didn't bother spellchecking the message, and I'm aware that I may have made many mistakes, no need to point them out unless they are very annoying to you.

-EDIT-

Oh and um, seems I won Yahoo fantasy football! I owe all the wins I had to Kurt Warner, without his support my team wouldn't have been able to do it.

Nintendo DS? *looks at IGN*

I would have never found that one w/o you

Big news, though I think it's one of the most retarded ideas ever... but we'll see.

-EDIT-

Thanks Vampyr

You know that is the very last time I hire a hitman from the phonebook. They did an extremely lazy job with it, and they didn't even get the job done.

Next time.. next time...

EA plublishing TS3 eh? I hope they help give the "Rare" FPS experience we haven't got this gen... TS2 was good, just wasn't as polished as Perfect Dark imo. But thanks for the info Stu...

Crono, morrowind is holding me off for now... but I can't wait to hop online with you guys. I mean, I can't wait to be battleing with you guys hiding behind a tree leveling up
