Gamecube Sales

That price drop really helped, almost doubling Xbox sales in November. I'm not much for sales, but the forums seem a bit dead lately so meh

Re: Gamecube Sales
I read this a few days ago. Good for Nintendo. But they still need to advertise more heavily on their most selling games. I have seen the MK: DD commerciall a few times, but I see Mario Party 5 all the fricking time. If Nintendo advertised MK: DD as much as they did Mario Party, sales would be even better.

Re: Gamecube Sales
Yeah so true, they always advitise the less liked games instead of advitising the big hitters, i can see where there coming from but they dont advitise the big ones enough!

Re: Gamecube Sales
Yeah, the price dropped really did help. For only a $100, its the perfect gift for parents to give to their kids, and practically everyone can afford one.

Let it be known that when I read this, I was the only person online at GameTavern.

See now, to me, that seems right. I've played both games extensively and have to say that I definately prefer Mario Party 5 (particularly as a multiplayer game). It was just so well thought out in my opinion.
The spike in sales is good. They need to keep it up, though. I feel so hopeless when I think of Nintendo, and it's really sad. I feel like I'm watching them slowly kill themselves a little more every day.

Re: Gamecube Sales
I bet the hot item this season is the GBA SP. I know a ton of people who are getting them - heck, even my brother and I are getting one. Nintendo's covered there.

I put one on my Christmas List, but I doubt I will get one. Ive got to much other stuff on there, like Games and DVD's.

Re: Gamecube Sales
I'm starting to question why I buy Nintendo systems around launch. I could have easily waited for the price drop and already have played most of the games I own for the system already...would have saved me a $100 at least. I just get caught up in all the hype surrounding a new lanuch I suppose.

Re: Gamecube Sales
I had a dream that the GameCube was only €50 or something... weird dream, I remembered it when I read the thread.
Makes you wonder, how many dreams in 1 night do you forget??? So how many dreams have you had in your whole life?? Could be millions!

Re: Gamecube Sales
People typically have about 250 dreams per night, but obviously they don't remember many if any...

Yeah. My sleep cycles get really messed up every once in a while (like the past 3 nights). I have only a few dreams a night. But they're very long and I remember all of them (I think). Time to start taking my prescription sleep drugs again methinks.
